Its beginning to look a lot like Christmas....

Its the most wonderful time of the year.... Thanks to Febreeze, the house smells like pine, which is totally awesome cause our tree is fake. Getting a REAL tree will be on the agenda for our first Christmas when the Navy doesn't own us.  The stockings are hung (note to self: get a house with a fireplace next), and the trees are up. This year Harper seems to understand Christmas a little bit more!

When she woke up from her nap and rounded the corner to see a huge tree that wasn't there before, she stood in front of the tree and yelled "BALL!!" HA HA HA.  Yes... lots of balls!  She even helped put the balls on the tree and helped daddy put the Angel on top.

She insists that her tree have its lights on all the time!! She will stand and just stare... and then if you don't get up to turn it on- SHE will pick up the plug and stare at you.  She knows how things work!! =)  Every year we let her pick out an ornament to add to her tree and she picked a dog this year.  She barks every time she sees it.  Ill have to catch it on video one of these days.

The house looks like the North Pole... I have boxes scattered from one end to the other... Some going to Idaho, Utah and of coarse Colorado! When a project is complete, its wrapped and put in the corresponding box. My goal is to have all the boxes shipped by Dec 10th.  We have decided for many reasons to just stay here in CT this holiday season... Josh will be deployed next Christmas so we thought we would take every opportunity we could to make memories as a family during the time we have together. We have lots of Christmas festivities coming up and I will be sure to post pics and update you on all of the happenings!
Hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving!
